I’m from Mobile, AL and have been babysitting on-and-off since I was 13. I began by taking care of two8-year-old boys for approximately six months and transitioned to caring for small children (1+) for a while before returning to that age range. Since my first time babysitting, the 6-12 age group has definitely been my favorite and I feel as though I connect best with kids of that level of development/maturity. I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and forming close relationships. I place emphasis on forming a sense of trust with them and being equally their caretaker as I am their friend and resource. I am looking for any regular or semi-regular babysitting gig that takes place after June 14th and is after 3pm; I will begin interning for a nonprofit in Times Square at that point.
