I recently graduated from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities with a Bachelors in Psychology and Sociology of Law/ Criminal Justice/ and Deviance with a minor in Chicano Latino Studies. I have an abdundance of experience working with children of 0-13 years old. When I was in high school I used to work at a local daycare for about 2 years. I was in charge of putting infants to bed, making meals, changing diapers, taking the kids outside, etc. I also am the oldest in my family of 3 others kids. This meant that growing up I had a lot of care taker responsbilities. I was in charge of taking my siblings to school every morning as well as preparing food and doing household chores. I enjoy working with kids and helping support them with their virtual learning. In my undergrad years I worked at my University’s YMCA for 4 years where I worked closely with youth in organizing after school activities. I also provided mental and emotional support to students. I have excellent communication skills as well as am a very organized person. I value education and ecourage others to seek knowledge as well. In my free time, I enjoy exploring the city parks, reading, taking pictures, and writting.
