Hello! My name is Lauren and I currently live/work in midtown but looking for occasional evening and weekend babysitting jobs in the city. I moved here from Dallas six years ago and before then helped take care of my three younger brothers. I use to host birthday parties and worked with NYC clients I met through my job at a family fitness studio or referrals from those parents. Most have sadly either moved away or outgrown a sitter.

When it comes to babysitting, I try to be sensitive of the needs of the kids while being firm and communicative so that parents will feel comfortable being away. I also try to make our time together fun – my own home was always filled with board games, blanket forts, movies, hide-and-seek and reading books. Changing a diaper had become an art form.

I love being an older sister so If there is homework to be helped with or a load of laundry to be done, I’m there to assist.
