My name is Maddie, I have a degree in social work, and have 8 years of experience working with kids of all ages.

From middle school, I was hired as a neighborhood babysitter always available to watch neighbors kids. This evolved to my first job in highschool being at a daycare working with children aged 2-6, while simultaneously working as a day camp counselor for my church during the summer months. When graduating highschool, I knew I wanted to continue working with kids while getting my degree. I decided to pursue a degree in social work to continue learning how to improve the lives of americas at risk youth. In college, I spent my summers working as an overnight camp counselor for highschool aged students, at the same camp I spent 12 summers at as a camper. During the school year, I interned as a student preschool teacher on campus at the university preschool at Ole Miss. After graduating college, I pursued a career as a foster care social worker for two years. During this time I worked with children in the system, and licensed parents to become foster parents. Eventually, I moved into a corporate role to pursue my dream of moving to New York. While I love my career as a recruiting manager at KF Google, I miss the joy of spending my time developing life skills, teaching compassion and integrity, and building the confidence of all the children that have also taught me so much.

While I do not have an active cpr/first aid license, I maintained an active license for 8 years and would happily get relicensed if it is a priority for your family.
