Hi! My name is Margaret, and I am from a lovely town in NJ. I’ve been babysitting since I was around 15 years old, and my experiences have brought me to several homes all with different familial structures, ranging from just one child who was five years old to a family of four children, between the ages of 2 months old to 10 years old. Babysitting has had an immense part in how I’ve matured through high school because being responsible for taking care of someone’s children who are not your own requires that you hold yourself accountable for every minute that you spend with them. It has been my favorite job that I’ve worked, as it teaches patience and an overall understanding of children going through different walks of life. Being a help to the parents when they need it is also one of the great bonuses, and at the end of the night, I always feel fulfilled in knowing that the children are safe and have been well cared for.
