As you will see outlined in my CV I was living in Berlin, Germany since December 2015. There I worked in various creative ventures I did a publishing internship at Texte Zur Kunst and freelance copy edited for various arts and culture magazines in Berlin. I also worked as an administrative assistant for a small german publishing house called Merve Verlag for a little over 2 years. I also almost always had consistent babysitting/nanny jobs. I really do believe Im a Jill of all trades! Now I am back in the US and I am pursuing my MFA in poetry at The New School. I am also minoring in Early Education. The good thing about my program is that all my classes start in the evenings (7:30 pm).
I am really interested in babysitting because education, especially early childhood education is a career change I am looking to get into. I would be excited to engage kids with storytelling, feeding, and outdoor play (when older). I have always had a creative education and though I dont have direct experience right now, I do believe I can thrive in this environment. I am also most definitely willing to get CPR certified.
I consider myself adept to learning new skills and I am eager to take on any challenges, whether big or small. No job is too trivial.
Overall, due to my experience with interdisciplinary arts education and my desire to work with education I find myself to be a worthy candidate and I would be humbled at the opportunity.
