Hey parents!
I am a nineteen year old fine art student from Miami, Florida currently studying at The Cooper Union here in NYC. In Miami I babysat a variety of children (including infants, toddlers, young children, and pre-teens) during weekends as both a hobby and source of income. More than anything, I babysat because I have a knack for creating bonds and establishing a sense of trust with children. It genuinely brings me great joy being around kids! It is my goal to continue this practice here in NY as a college student to brighten my days and meet families. All profit goes towards funding my college expenses.

I make babysitting a special experience for kids by encouraging safe and creative playing. In the past this has included music and art making, craft projects, reading, and story-telling. Upon meeting your child(ren) and gathering a sense of their personality, I will be able to decipher what may be fun and in their personal interests in terms of creativity – if at all! Playing indoor and outdoor games, conversing, going on trips to local parks and playgrounds are encouraged as well (with consent of the parents).

Ice-breaker: Prior to accepting jobs with a new family, I would like to set a meeting (however long or short) in order to meet both you and your child to discuss your home rules, your child’s daily schedule (including sleep, meals/dietary restrictions, etc.), and discuss any bit of information I should be made aware of concerning your child. I believe this is essential in establishing a sense of trust and understanding with you, your child(ren), and for myself.

EXPERIENCE:
-Certified in Babysitting and Child Care by the American Red Cross (includes CPR)
-Youngest child I babysat: 8 months old
-Eldest child I babysat: 14 years old

I look forward to reading and responding to pending questions you may have, so please feel free to reach out to me with any inquiries or if you would like to schedule a meeting!
