Hi! My name is Nicole and I am a 23 year old working in the social services field. I am from NYC and recently moved back after graduating from American University and staying in DC the year after I graduated. In that year, I was an assistant teacher for after school theater classes at various schools in DC, while also volunteering for the Homeless Children’s Playtime Project. I have worked at various camps and childcare programs since I was 18, including being a sleepaway camp counselor at the NY YMCA Camp, a day camp counselor at New Country Day Camp in Staten Island, and a co-teacher/ Safety Coordinator for Apex for Youth. I have worked with ages 5-14 over the past 5 years. Because of this, I feel comfortable and confident in my ability to create a welcoming, fun, and supportive environment while taking care of children.
