Hello, families! I’m Wakaba, a 20-year-old college student studying journalism and English at Fordham University. Having lived in Amsterdam, Prague, Atlanta, Tokyo, and NYC, I bring a rich, multicultural perspective and am fluent in both English and Japanese. My experiences range from creating fun and innovative lesson plans as an English teacher for children aged 0-12, to sharing stories and games as a babysitter, and further extending to tutoring in advanced reading and math. Whether its reading to kids in two languages, playing games, or helping with studies, I love making each moment enjoyable and enriching for kids. Being an older sister has instilled in me a profound sense of responsibility, making caring for children second nature.
