Hi! My name is Britt :) First and foremost, I am a 23 year old musician and lover of the great outdoors. I am very flexible, understanding, patient, mature, easy-going, and know when to play and when to be serious.

I am looking for part-time work as a babysitter but am open to full-time if needed.

My experience working with children is diverse, though I’ve never worked as a paid babysitter outside of my family. I worked on Fort Dix for two summers as a Child and Youth Program Assistant, working with children ages 4-12 which I loved. I was also going to school for Inclusive Early Childhood Education before I had to drop out for financial reasons, so I have a background knowledge of early childhood development. I also have 3 younger cousins, ages 8, 9 and 12 whom I’ve provided care for since they were infants. I even lived with the oldest two for a few years when they were babies/toddlers so I have seen all of their highs and lows. The 12 year old is on the Autism Spectrum and is non-verbal. I have experience working with children from different walks of life and feel confident in my ability to adapt if a new situation presents itself. I am patient and understanding when it comes to neurodiverse children.

I have always felt like a kid at heart and I love to play. I can be active or sedentary depending on the childs wants/needs. I love animated movies, singing/dancing around and being silly, and overall I prefer to look on the brighter side of life.

I also LOVE to cook and would not mind helping out with that if it is needed. I have my own car but I would prefer not to take the kids out in it regularly unless it is a special circumstance that we discuss ahead of time or an emergency situation.

Overall I am very flexible and would love to have a chat on how I can best support your family as a sitter!
