I’m completing my Bachelors degree in Music Therapy this May, an education that includes therapeutic and compassionate training in working with music.
I am currently a full time intern at Young Children’s Center for the Arts, a creative arts preschool in South Philadelphia where I work with children ages 1-5 each day. I’m well-versed in enrichment, educational, and recreational activities for kids of preschool age and believe in the importance of teaching kindness and acceptance of a child’s unique qualities as well as setting firm boundaries and challenging them to grow.
I have previously worked as a camp counselor at Camp Starfish and Variety Club Camp with children ages 5-18, many with developmental delays.
I have also been a part-time music teacher with elementary age students in Philly schools.
As a high schooler, I babysat several elementary age children.
