I became a caregiver because growing up, my babysitters and camp counselors were the people I raved about in any conversation. They were the coolest people to me, and I wanted to be just like them. Having those positive role models is so important growing up because it fortifies the ideals and truths that you bring with you into adulthood. So, I went into caregiving (being a camp counselor & babysitter) to be that positive role model.
