Hello!! My name is Kara Z. I am and have always been an artist. I grew up in Orlando, Floirda where I graduated from the University of Central Florida. Throughout college I did part time babysitting jobs to make a little extra money.
I then moved to Austin,TX where i continued to pick up jobs as a sitter and part time nanny. I would babysit for parents, (a 16month old boy) that needed a night out and for a working mother that needed me during the day so she could get her work done (a 2 year old girl).

Soon after my older sister gave birth to my niece and I became a full time aunt when I wasn’t working at my serving job. Two years later she gave birth to my other niece and I had to be there to help out as much as possible.

Later I moved to Oakland, California to become more involved in the art community. I was the caretaker of an elderly woman there (86) for a couple of months. I also continued to babysit when I could for a friends little boy of 4 years old.

I have been enjoying working in art and will always. However, have decided to go back to school to further my education in early childhood development and eventually become a teacher. I would ideally like to teach 2nd,3rd and/or 4th graders.

I’ve always understood children and enjoyed being around them. I would like to be able to incorporate my artistic side within the classroom. I think being a part of who them become as an adult sounds wonderful.

Rate: $15/hour – $30/hour
