I graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. Currently, I am a PreK and Kindergarten teacher at a bilingual French preschool.
I have about 20 years experience working with children, from teaching, tutoring, mentoring, volunteering, and babysitting. Some of my previous jobs include being a summer art camp instructor, drawing instructor, 4th grade teacher, Science summer camp instructor, Singapore Math tutor, after-school preschool teacher, Technology instructor (Video Game Design and Robotics), daycare teacher (for 6 years), private preschool tutor, after-school tutor, 3rd grade teacher, and long-term substitute teacher. I have babysat for families with up to 5 children, from infants to 12 years old. I am comfortable caring for children of all ages. All of the families I have babysat for have been families I met through previous jobs or through a mutual friend.
I enjoy sharing my creativity with children by drawing, creating arts and crafts, doing origami, and doing paper crafts with them. I love encouraging children to explore the world around them.
In my free time, I love planning, crafting, making jewelry, being creative in any way, and spending time with friends. I live in Center City and would love to babysit for families who live close by, preferably within walking distance.
