Hi! I’m Marlyn, I have babysat ever since I was 15 (am 22 now!) — I have an abundance (7+ years) of experience with all ages of children – I also have been a long time care taker of one child and have formed an incredible bond with him. I get along with children very well. I just graduated Wesleyan University with a degree in psychology with a concentration on child and family psychology. In a couple of years I am planning on getting a PsyD or a PHD in the field. I have work experience as a lifeguard, water aerobics instructor, in the human resources department at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, and an administrative assistant throughout college. I also spend my free time volunteering for women’s rights and occasionally volunteer walking dogs. I am at a very special point of my life with just graduating and deciding on what exactly I want to do until I start studying for graduate school and I am very interested in working with children as it is something I love to do. I recently turned down a position to serve in China in the Peace Corps teaching children as the relations right now with American Programs are unstable. I live by Rittenhouse Square and am happy to do all other types of activities that consist of helping around the house, besides taking care of the kids!
