I’m Salvador Garcia Lopez (I also go by Sal) and I recently moved from Portland, Oregon to Philadelphia to do a term of service with Americorps where I will be working with high school students on their college applications. I have a Bachelors degree in Earth Science from Western Oregon University. My previous experience working with children include: Babysitting my four nieces and one nephew from ages of 3 to 10 while my older sisters worked night shifts. Being a college tutor for high school students at Central High School (Independence, OR) and Dallas High School (Dallas, OR). Being a Resident Assistant for high school students at a 6-week overnight college preparatory program.
