Hi parents! I began working with children when I was 13 years old. I worked at a camp named French Communication Institute located in Center City, Philadelphia. It most certainly wasnt the typically camp. We travelled all over. We went to New York, Washington DC, New Jersey, Virginia, and more. The job required even more special attention than the typical camp counselor job. I often would walk students to the Art Museum, Franklin Institute, and other places in Center City alone. When we visited museums, counselors had to make the most of the experience. Campers loved me because I knew how to connect with them, but still know when it was time to be serious. I worked at this camp for several years before leaving due to school and needing more experience in the medical field. While at this camp, I mainly watched children between the ages of 7-14. After leaving the camp, I mainly worked in food/customer service so I could focus on school. Currently, I am in school to become a RN. I do have my BLS certification through the American Heart Association. Additionally, I have my fingerprints cleared and background check approved.
