Hello, my name is Marina and Im from Moorestown, NJ!

Working with children is my main passion in life. I have about 10 years of work experience with children and teens: as a babysitter, camp counselor, tutor and school teacher.

My Professional Background:

I have 1 year of babysitting experience – for neighbors and family friends.

I have over 7 years experience as a teacher: both in a brick-and-mortar school, as well as in a virtual e-learning classroom.

I taught English as a Foreign Language in Thailand for 2 years (grades Kindergarten to 6th). For 5 years, I taught language skills to students remotely all around the world.

I have over 1.5 years experience as a Camp Counselor.

I worked one summer with WestCoast Connection, taking teens on camping trips around the USA. I also worked with Palmyra Cove Nature Park, where I led school groups on nature hikes & conducted classes on environmental awareness.

My Professional Goals:

As a teacher, I love to see my students learning and growing each day. I strive to create an open, warm and nurturing environment for children to express their authentic selves.

As a camp counselor, I love to see my campers learning, evolving, and having fun outside of the conventional classroom.

As a babysitter, I love creating a safe enjoyable atmosphere for children to focus on homework, play games, and rest & recharge in the comfort of their own homes.
