Hey all! My name is Sara, a New York native! I graduated from the University of Maryland in 2018 and directly after was given the opportunity to join Teach For America. There I was put on a fast track to becoming a Special Education teacher. After 4 years of teaching Kindergarten and First Grade, I decided to take a step back from the classroom to work on professional and career development. However, as I have been out of the classroom for 1 year, I find myself missing working with children and providing excellent educational and social learning. In my years in the classroom, I was able to find success due to my relationship building with students but also families as well. I wish to continue to do this with your family too!
