My background in childcare is extensive. Not only am I a mother of two adult children and have two grandchildren, I work part-time for our local city school district. In addition to having several babysitting jobs when I was in my teen years, I also worked part-time for four years at the local YMCA working with children if all ages.

I do have a degree from Kent State University in Fine Arts, and have completed CPR and AED training through the Red Cross in April of 2022 that probably needs renewed. My Bloodborne Pathogens is current until September of 2025. I have also completed the required BCI and FBI background check through the DMV and our local school system.

In addition to working with children and looking out for their personal safety, I can also assist with meals, rides to and from school , snacks, homework, and various other tasks as required.

My work at the school is in the middle of the school day until June. Then, my schedule is more flexible during the summer.
