Hi, my name is Maggie, and I am a freshman at Villanova University! Back home (Pittsburgh PA), I have been babysitting for about the past 5 years, mostly ranging between the ages of 10 months – 6 years, but I would LOVE to gain more experience with infants! I am so serious when I say that I am 99% happier when I am around a baby. Anyone who knows me knows that I am in my element when I am around not just babies, but all kids! Coming out here for school was the hardest thing for me purely because I had to leave my babes and kiddos back home behind. They seriously were my life. Watching my little “babes” (who are not so little anymore) learn the world around them, grow physically and mentally, and get to be a part of it all has actually been the most rewarding thing in my life (but also the most bittersweet at the same time). We grew up together and they kept me young. I need more of that childlike innocence in my life out here!!

I am a hands-on babysitter who loves to do whatever the kids love to do! From arts and crafts to make-believe to games and activities of any sorts, I am down for it all, because truthfully, I may be enjoying it more than the kids sometimes haha. Back home I babysat consistently for 3 families, all with different needs! I have been a “Mommy’s Helper” who played with the kids (inside and outside) while she ran errands, tidied up/made dinner without distractions, or simply watched the monitor so she could get out of the house for a couple of hours. I’ve done all day sitting with meal prepping, playtime, naptime/bedtime routines. To cleaning, laundry, and “house re-setting” as well. As long as it does not interfere with my time with the kiddos, I would love to help you out and do it all! (Usually, I did most of my housework after the kiddos went down, but I will obviously do whatever works best for you!) Basically, what I am trying to say is that I am down for anything! I just want to be around these sweet little angels again, because it seriously is when I am the most “me.” So, if you need a sitter or someone to come play with your kids for a while so you can get things done, please reach out to me! We can set up a call, or I can send you references… whatever you need to feel most comfortable and make this happen I will do!

Since I am a full-time student and unfortunately cannot have a car on campus yet, weekends (ideal) or later weeknights would work best for me at this time, and I may need help with transportation :/
