The Anne Arundel County Department of Recreation and Parks state-licensed School Age Child
Care (SACC) and Middle School Teen Group (MSTG) programs provide a safe, supportive
environment that promotes social interaction, community integration, physical development, and
intellectual growth in accordance with the Maryland State Department of Educations Office of Child
Care and National After School Alliance standards.

The SACC/MSTG program strives to meet the needs of every child enrolled in our program.
In order to assist us in meeting your childs needs it is important that you complete the
registration form in as much detail as possible The responses that you provide will assist us
in meeting your childs needs.
* An American with Disabilities Act (ADA) accommodation request requires a twoweek
prior notification.
* The parent/guardian must participate in a conference with the SACC/MSTG
Administrative Office before the child can attend the program.
If the SACC/MSTG Administrative Office is not notified in advance your childs start date
may be delayed until a conference can be held.

The School Age Child Care (SACC) programs will provide a safe, supportive environment that promotes social interaction, community interaction and encourages a postive self-image for all participants. The SACC programs act in accordance with the Maryland State Child Care Regulations (COMAR) and the NAA Standards for Quality School-Age Care. Activities will include opportunities for individual and group participation, while providing a balance between self-directed and staff-directed activities. There will be a full component of arts and crafts, sports and games, social skills, self-esteem activities, as well as other enrichment opportunities will also compliment the program. In addition, all outdoor facilities will be utilized to augment the regular program.

In order to assist us in meeting your childs needs it is important that you complete the questions on the registration form. The responses that you provide will assist us in adequately preparing to meet your childs needs. If your child has a physical or mental condition that would limit his or her participation in our program and you believe we can accommodate the needs of your child, please describe, on the registration form, any accommodations you are requesting on behalf of your child. Please allow for a minimum of two weeks for your accommodation request to be considered.
