Marc Academy & Family Center

Since 1995 we have worked with more than 1500 children from low-income families in the Mt. Hope and Burnside communities of the Bronx. We nurture empower and invest in children and families in the South Bronx to provide them the tools for a lifetime of learning and success.

MARC believes that Music Art Reading and Culture help children develop creative and academic skills. Enabling a strong safe and cohesive community of parents faculty and administrators that works together to help and support children to:

Be creative expressive talented and responsible.
Grow academically and become lifelong learners.
Develop self-esteem and respect others.
MARC provides underserved children of the Bronx and their families with opportunities to become lifelong learners enabled to make educated decisions in their lives. As was said by the Greek philosopher Epictetus Only the educated are free. This facility is authorized to administer over-the-counter topical ointments only
