We care for children ages 6 weeks to 8 years old. We provide breakfast, lunch, dinner, and two snacks throughout the day. We are a Learning Center so all children of Preschool age and up are given age appropriate work to do for a brief period during the day. We help all school aged children with any homework/ tutoring needs. We also provide transportation to and from schools in Steel Valley, West Mifflin and some of Rankin.
*We have parents who pay a daily rate out of pocket, and we also work with CCIS.
- Children are not grouped together in one large room. Infants have their own room, toddlers have theirs, preschool and school-aged have theirs.

Precious Cargo Child Care & Learning Center is owned and run by Linda Eleam and Camille Eleam- Jones. Linda has been involved in the educating and nurturing of children for over 15 years with Pittsburgh Public Schools. Using her teaching skills, Linda, and her daughter Camille, who has also been a teacher with Pittsburgh Public Schools, will offer professional, quality care to the children of this vibrant area.Precious Cargo’s program will meet Pennsylvania State Standards in Education. We also strive to create an environment that nurtures the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of the children in our care.
