Established in 1903 Jenkintown Day Nursery provides affordable quality educational child care to children of working families in our community. To continue the mission of our founders our fees are on a sliding scale and preference is given to those who truly need our help. Jenkintown Day Nursery is committed to excellence in the education and development of the young child within a safe and loving environment.
Our Program Goals -
Our goal is to promote each childs independence self-esteem positive attitudes and readiness skills through exposure to a wide variety of activities that enhance his or her social emotional physical and cognitive growth. Our developmentally appropriate curriculum is designed to allow children to learn at their own pace and allows us to meet their individual needs. Special programs including art music movement and class trips enhance learning.
