Children are the primary focus at Tiny Town. We strive to offer a loving, safe, and clean environment for the children, while meeting the daily needs of their parents. We recognize that each child has unique talents, learning styles and personalities. Our highly-qualified teachers and staff are committed to working within each child’s comfort zone to ensure optimal social, emotional and educational results.
Tiny Town Learning Center is licensed by the Division of Youth and Family Services within the State of New Jersey. Our school is comprised of spacious classrooms with several acadmic as well as play centers throughout each room. Of course, Tiny Town also has a great outdoor play area, which the children enjoy on a daily basis. Our outdoor play area is protected by a vinyl coated chain link fence, and the ground is covered with playground rated mulch. All of our outdoor equipment has been approved by New Jersey’s Guidelines for Playground Safety.
Tiny Town is secured and monitored by an electronic system. In addition, our modern facility has added safety measures which include, a central station fire alarm system, fire sprinkler system, as well as, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. In addition, our staff are certified in CPR and First Aid.
Although providing a safe and secure environment for our students, it is also our mission to make life as easy as possible for the parents of our students. Therefore, Tiny Town provides a few “extra” services at no additional charge. A few of these services include preparing and serving a healthy breakfast and lunch, as well as two snacks and beverages on a daily basis. We also provide cribs, sleeping mats, and bedding for each child.
It is important to us to provide the best child care and academic programs around. Therefore, we continuously provide training seminars and classes for our adminstrative and teaching staff. Of course, we are always interested in feedback and suggestions from our families, so that we continue to meet the needs of families throughout our community, so please always feel free to share your opinions with us!

What makes Tiny Town Learning Center so special is our unique and diverse curriculum program. The administrative staff, along with the teaching staff, developed an one of a kind program combining several well known and effective resources and educational materials, such as Handwriting Without Tears, Hooked on Phonics, NJ’s Department of Education’s Core Curriculum Standards, NAEYC, HighScope, Orton Gillingham, and much more! It is our belief children should be exposed to multiple activities, materials, and subjects to better prepare them for their entrance into the school system.
All of the programs at Tiny Town, including our Infant Program, are instructed through active learning. Active learning incorporates “hands on” learning experiences, which greatly heightens the child’s educational experiences and the knowledge retained. This beneficial approach to learning provides children with a variety of educational experiences, opportunites to express choices and opinions, while teachiing them how to solve any problems or obstacles they may encounter. It’s important to remember “learning” does not necessarily occur by sitting at a table or listening to a teacher lecture.
Our programs are instructed by professional individuals, trained in early childhood development. Each member has been carefully selected for their education, teaching experience and skills, as well as, their caring nature and their sensitivity to the needs of each and every individual child.
