Logan Head Start

Head Start is a federal and state funded program for preschool children from low income families. Most Head Start programs are operated by local non-profit organizations in almost every county in the country. Children who attend Head Start participate in a variety of educational activities.
Head Start helps all children succeed. Services are offered to meet the special needs of children with disabilities. Children in Head Start are between the ages of three and five.

Head Start is a preschool program that provides a variety of learning experiences to help children learn to cope socially emotionally and intellectually. Head Start also provides programming for children with special needs/disabilities. In addition all children participate in a comprehensive health care program.
