Grand Street Settlement at Project Cool PS 15

Grand Street’s Project COOL is a pioneer in providing community-based academic support to low-income children. The creative literacy curriculum embraces an interactive approach to learning and teaching. It includes a full range of academic and cultural enrichment recreation and leadership development activities for approximately 100 children ages 612. Project COOL employs a learner-centered approach engaging students in activities that tap their interests and increase their ability. Project COOL builds the children’s academic skills and self-confidence the foundation for improved school performance. This facility is authorized to administer over-the-counter topical ointments only
