Rio Child Care Center

The Child Development Program is an early intervention program that serves children ages 12 to 36 months with special needs or are at-risk for developmental delay. Our program provides a global approach to promote optimum skill development. A multi-disciplinary team of professionals works with the child and family to build skills in socialization, fine & gross motor, speech & language, cognition, sensory organization, and self help skills. A full developmental evaluation is completed upon each child entering the program to identify strengths as well as areas of delay or concern. An individual program plan is then developed to establish specific goals and objectives to meet over a 6-month period of time. Early evening parent education meetings and support groups are offered regularly.
