Child’s World Nursery School has operated as a non-sectarian non-profit community service of the United Methodist Church of Port Washington New York for more than 40 years. Child’s World participates in the Universal Pre-K Program under the authorization of the Port Washington School District. A parent cooperative our school is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and licensed by the New York Office of Children and Family Services:
- a.m. programs for 3 – 4 yr olds
- a.m. separation program for 2 yr olds
- a nurturing atmosphere of acceptance and accomplishment
- spacious facilities with which to explore experiment and create
- a staff of qualified experienced teachers trained in early childhood development This facility is authorized to administer medications
