Glenridge Childrens Center

The Glenridge Childrens Center goals and philosophy revolves around the needs of our children & families in our program. We make every effort to create an environment that is positive, warm, fun, safe and secure. We provide support services in childcare to our families and give them many reasons to feel secure in their choice to enroll their child in our care. We strive to involve parents in their child’s growth & development by keeping the lines of communication open at all times. Parents work cooperatively in our program through a Board of Directors and family activities that encourage community effort in the program.
The Glenridge Children’s Center, a parent non-profit corporation, provides before and after school care for Glenridge students, K-5. The Glenridge Children’s Center serves families from 7:00-8:30 a.m. and 3:30-6:00 p.m. each school day. Currently licensed for 125 children, the Center operates in the cafeteria, gym, on the playground, and other available spaces. A variety of activities are provided — quiet and active, small group and individual, drawing on the interests and skills of students, parents, community and the diverse staff.
