DVCCA Inc. Delaware Valley Child Care Associates was founded in 1991 to provide a wide range of professional and management services to school districts and school-age child care providers throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania New Jersey and the metropolitan Philadelphia region.

With the tremendous increase in single parent families and families with both parents working the need for quality high caliber school-age child care has grown exponentially at all age levels throughout the region. The influx of children into regular day care centers and the large number of children being left at home “to get themselves ready for school” or returning after school to “unsupervised” homes has reached critical and crisis proportions. These factors have taxed existing private day care centers and school-age child care programs to their limits left many families with out adequate child care and fostered the development of programs too short on experience lacking in quality services and too high in program prices.

It is the intended purpose of DVCCA Inc. and its family of KidsCare organizations to provide assistance to “new” or potential school-age child care providers in establishing their programs with the high quality of standards and efficient operations demanded by today’s consumer and to assist established private and public school-age child care programs in upgrading and expanding their existing services and operations so as to help ease the critical shortage and need for quality school-age child care: before-school after-school school holiday kindergarten and summer as well as pre-kindergarten education.

Depending on the need of the private school or public school district DVCCA Inc. can provide full service “turn key” program operations or various consultation services ranging from program management to “trouble-shooting” to step-by-step program development. Its KidsCare KindergartenPlus and KidsCamp school-age child care programs are specially designed comprehensive programs of before-school after-school school holiday kindergarten and summer enrichment and child care services developed by experienced educators specifically for today’s schools. Also its newly developed KindergartenPrep kindergarten preparatory program for pre-school youngsters provides children with a state-of-the-art developmentally-appropriate pre-school educational and enrichment program.

The mission of DVCCA and its family of KidsCare organizations is focused solely on providing “the very best possible” in school-age child care and early childhood programming through its KidsCare programs to schools and school districts in Southeastern Pennsylvania New Jersey and the Philadelphia metropolitan region. It is our primary business objective and pursuit! In the operation of their highly popular KidsCare programs DVCCA Inc. as well as its family of KidsCare organizations strive to establish and nurture a close professional working relationship with the participating school district or organization and encourage a partnership in providing the best possible and most comprehensive school-age child care and/or early childhood programming for the children and parents residing in the community.

As part of this partnership DVCCA Inc. and its KidsCare affiliates work closely with the participating school or school district to provide school-age child care and/or early childhood education to all families regardless of financial ability at the lowest most affordable program tuition rates while allowing the school or school district to generate “new” revenues that can be used to expand existing school programs or develop new program initiatives that may not be high “budget priorities” but as all parents educators and school board members know “are important programs for today’s youth”.

DVCCA Inc. its KidsCare affiliates and its high quality and unparalleled KidsCare programs as well as its dynamic and flexible school district partnerships is a unique and high powered combination of resources that will continue to provide and expand the “very best” in school-age child care programming services and early childhood pre-school education for parents and children in Southeastern Pennsylvania New Jersey and the Delaware Valley region far into the 21st century.
