Kiddie Korner Day Care

Kiddie Korner’s program is developmentally appropriate for children ages six weeks to kindergarten age. The curriculum offered provides for each child’s physical, emotional, social and cognititve development through an integrated approach. A safe and healthy environment is always provided. Children are encouraged to develop their creative selves through the use of self expressive materials and problem solving activities in which varied and alternative solutions are encouraged, reinforced and experimented.

Kiddie Korner also offers day care for children age six weeks to twelve years old. Pre-school age children are allowed to experience the pre-school curriculum described from 9:00 am until lunch is served. at other times goals and objectives remain the same but program activities are less structured to allow children even more choices, relaxation and freedom in addition
to being provided a quality education.

Kiddie Korner operates Monday – Friday, 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Full meals are served for breakfast and lunch as well as an afternoon snack. Nutritious children’s meals are served under USDA guidelines. Weekly menus are posted. Alternate foods
for special diets, allergies and emergencies can be served if necessary.

Staff training is attended as necessary to meet the requirements of the State of Virginia. Staff are CPR, First Aid and MAT Certified(Medication Administration Training).
