Joyful Beginnings

Responding to Christ’s call to mission First Presbyterian Church in Allen pledges itself to a ministry of child development embracing basic Christian values by means of an on-site preschool. The church recognizes the critical importance of early childhood experiences and education as a foundation for every child’s intellectual spiritual emotional physical and social growth.

Classes will meet from 9:00am – 1:00 pm. They will be structured to include a balance of language building activities gross and fine motor skill development play activities creative artwork music exercise story time and learning centers. Their focus will be developmentally appropriate and nurture each child’s self esteem.

Further First Presbyterian Church and Joyful Beginnings affirm their commitment to diversity and inclusiveness by providing a quality preschool program that serves and strives to reflect the economic racial and religious diversity in the community.

Through this commitment First Presbyterian Church and Joyful Beginnings hopes to equip each child to appreciate the gifts of God throughout his or her life thereby enabling each child to express this joy in a life of loving tolerance and learning.
