TDC provides an environment where each child is able to approach optimum physical social emotional aesthetic and intellectual growth.
All aspects of development are interrelated and must be treated as such by adults responsible for a child’s total individual growth. Secure personal relationships creative opportunities for learning and self-expression and appropriate guidance at each stage of a child’s development are essential elements of TDC’s program.
The Discovery Center program incorporates the following principles of child development:
