As a church school, we tend to the spiritual needs of our children through song, bible stories, prayer before snack, Chapel time, and Christian values with our Pastor.
Ashton Christian Preschool is a non-profit, non-denominational Preschool which believes that all children are gifts from God. We welcome all children regardless of race, sex, religion or national origin. Established as a mission over 35 years ago by the Ashton United Methodist Church.
Ashton Christian Preschool offers many options to parents and children. Our educational programs are designed for 2 and 3 year old preschoolers, as well as 4 year old Pre-Kindergarten children. We offer half day programs that meet from 9:15 to 11:45 am and full day programs that meet from 9:15 am to 1:50 pm. Children can attend 2, 3, or 5 days each week. In addition to these school hours it is possible for half day students to stay for the afternoon on an occasional basis. While these opportunities allow parents to pick just the right program for their child, they can extend the childs participation in the educational setting as the need arises. Our Preschool is approved and licensed by the Maryland State Department of Education. Our program is designed to nurture the development of each child a a unique and special individual created in the image of God. Through interaction with others, children learn to express their ideas and respect themselves while building self- esteem and social skills.
