Covenant Weekday School and Mother’s Day Out

Mother’s Day Out operates for children eighteen months through two years on Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Each day consists of a lot of play and love. The children will do art projects listen to stories and sing songs. There will be a recess in Rand Hall and on the playground for the older children. To enroll in Pre-school a child must be 3 years old on or before September 1. Classes for 3’s and 4’s operate Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon. Extended care is available on Tuesdays Wednesdays and Thursdays until 5:30 p.m. for an additional charge (see fee sheet). Preschoolers have a set schedule each day. A qualified teacher leads the classes in circle time art music and movement learning games recess and social interactions. There is also a scheduled music class for pre-schoolers each week.

Since the church is located next to R. L. Turner High School it is a handy place for the teen mom’s to leave their children; it also has a caring and loving child care staff. Covenant also does a limited amount of child care/daycare for other families who need it. This is handled on an individual basis. Please call the director at 972-242-2259.
