CTK Preschool recognizes that each child is an individual; that all children are creative; that all children need to succeed. Therefore, CTK Preschool respects the individual needs of children; fosters a caring and creative environment; and emphasizes the social, emotional, physical, intellectual development of each child.

We provide a loving Christian academic environment for children ages 2 through 5. Our preschool program’s goal is for children to develop socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually in a Christian environment.

The two year old classes learn through play. They participate in a structured daily schedule that includes free play, teacher directed activities, outdoor or large muscle indoor play, and a snack.

The three year old classes are introduced to numbers, the alphabet, colors and shapes. They also learn through play. Their daily schedule is structured with a balance of teacher directed activities, free play, group play, outdoor or large muscle indoor play and a snack.

The four year old classes are preparing for kindergarten. The children learn the alphabet, initial consonant sounds, numbers, name recognition, their addresses and phone numbers. Their daily schedule is structured with more time being spent in teacher directed activities (like circle time) and group imaginative play. They also have outdoor or large muscle play and a snack.

We offer a lunch bunch option for 4 year olds. Once a week, the children either stay for an hour after the morning class or arrive an hour early for the afternoon class and have lunch and an enrichment class. Currently we are offering Spanish as the lunch option. Lunch is supervised by a staff member and then a Spanish teacher conducts a thirty minute lesson
