Preschool in Flower Mound, TX 75028
In July of 1993 Pastor Bob and Julie Totino and their two children moved to Flower Mound Texas to start a church. During the planning stage God began to put on the heart of the people the idea of having a full time childcare ministry within the church building. A Childcare Center Team was formulated and they began preparations to open the childcare center. The childcare center was formally named Kids’ Kingdom of Northcrest Community Church and later changed to Kids’ Kingdom Christian Learning Center.
The first Northcrest Sunday service in the new building was held on December 20th 1998 and Kids’ Kingdom CLC opened its doors in January of 1999 with only 16 children in enrollment. The word spread quickly and the center finished its first year with 67 children. One of the original families is still with us today!
In 2006 Kids’ Kingdom asked State Licensing to officially include the sanctuary as a place for our after school program. This added an additional 77 students to our facility. Thus raising our total capacity to 179 students and beginning a new era in our ability to reach out to our community and the School Age Children. Currently the leadership is in the beginning stages of assessing and recommending a gym to be built to accommodate our growing Childcare Center. The goal is to build this gym by 2009. Kids’ Kingdom CLC continues to be a vital part of the ministry of Northcrest Community Church.
