St. Paul Preschool is supported by the congregation of St. Paul Lutheran Church and partners with
St. Paul Lutheran K-8th School & St. Paul Childcare Center. We are licensed by the Michigan
Department of Consumer & Industry Services Division of Child Day Care Licensing
and accredited by the National Lutheran Schools Association.

We are a Christian preschool with a quality program -
Gentle daily devotions teach our students that Jesus is their Savior and He loves
them dearly. With this reassurance children should feel confidant to physically and
mentally explore the stimulating environment provided at our preschool. Christian
principals such as caring and sharing are encouraged as students interact with one
another. We recognize that future school success may depend on a student’s childhood experiences.
Our program is designed with the physical mental artistic social moral and spritual aspects of
development in mind. Special emphasis is placed on building up a child’s feelings of accomplishment
self-confidence and self-worth.

We are an experienced cooperative preschool -
Our cooperative preschool program is designed to promote parental involvement in schooling and
positive adult role models. We believe these factors are crucial to a child’s success in school. Parents
are expected to help out in their child’s classroom a few times per year and are encouraged to attend
Preschool parties and field trips. Parents are welcome to stay in the classroom whenever they wish
(but if you do we may enlist your help!).

We have an experienced dedicated staff -
Our preschool teachers have many years of experience between them and are trained in early
childhood education. They have created a successful program that keeps our families coming back
year after year. We have staff members that are extremely gifted in music which is a large part of our
preschool program. The St. Paul Preschool Ministry Team is a group of volunteer preschool parents
who support and assist our staff with the daily operation of the preschool.
