Now is the time for healthy exploratory play, self-initiated creativity and tradition-oriented activities that help your child live his or her childhood joyously, learning to know: who they are; about the WORLD around them and how to participate in it; and, what parents and teachers expect of them.

We start with the child. We learn from the child, and then lead based on the childs interests and past experience, helping each one move in new directions as she or he is ready.

Children build in their play and play builds children. At play, a child learns to think through and solve problems, to understand roles and relationship, to creatively arrange and rearrange possibilities and to work together with peers, building good social concepts.

Our facilities are organized so as to encourage the child to make choices and independently pursue many activities. Exploring and discovering continues indoors, in the Temple, outdoors and on frequent field trips. First and foremost, the Temple Beth Shalom Pre-School is always a warm and friendly environment where Jewish values, attitudes and customs are intertwined with the overall learning experience and addressing the essential growing needs of the child. Every day we introduce new experiences and ideas, through fun, learning, creativity and social interaction to our children and their families.
