Children's Creative Workshop

The Children’s Creative Workshop is a private non-profit Preschool designed to enhance in children their natural curiosity about themselves and the world around them.
Within each day, the children are exposed to phonics and number, stories, art, music, science, dramatic play and free play times, indoors and out. There is a wide variety of materials in each class for all levels of learning and imagination.
Phonics is the basis of reading and through fun and simple games, children can become familiar with the steps to writing and reading. Through similar games, children learn to recognize numbers, count and begin to understand the numberic system.
Apple computers are available and include a wide variety of programs, including those used in the Public Kindergartens.
Through a daily art and music program, children can discover their own power to create and the fun they can have in doing so. In exploring science, including marine science, children can realize many amazing facts about our world and oceans.
The children are offered many experiences with practical life skills. They are responsible for the area in which they choose to work and all associated clean up. There are opportunities for pouring, sponging, sweeping as well as food preparation and cooking.
There is time for free choice and imaginative play, as well as outdoor fun at the Children’s Creative Workshop. Our goals are to be with our friend and have a good time. In this environment, learning will take place naturally.
The staff of the Children’s Creative Workshop shares a true love for children and desires to help them mature to their fullest potential. All instructors are qualified with training or credentials in Early Childhood Education.
