Children's Creative Learning Center at FIU

The CCLC at FIU will offer a welcoming secure diverse and multi-cultural environment. Each child will receive an opportunity for optimal growth and development through the Centers socio-emotional based early education program which includes development in the following areas: communication expression of feelings decision making and critical thinking experiences enhancing their social emotional cognitive physical aesthetic and language development. Families will have the opportunity to become active participants in their childrens education enhance their parenting skills and partner with the teachers through family meetings parent workshops classroom observations and participation. The Center also will serve as a demonstration and research site for departments of the university and programs in the community as well as a training site for university students.
