Children’s Resource offers programs and services that enhance the learning potential and life skills of young children. In 1998 Children’s Resources Fund (CRF) became a direct service provider opening First Step Preschool. In 2008 CRF opened a Kindergarten class and the following year a First Grade class was added. CRF will continue adding one grade per year up to fifth grade.
Our staff is highly trained and qualified. All of our classrooms are taught by one teacher with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and two paraprofessionals with Associate Degrees or CDAE (Child Developmemt Associate Equivalency). Children are encouraged to make choices and our teachers are trained to guide them through all their learning experiences.

The High Scope Curriculum is implemented in the preschool classrooms. In the Elementary School we follow and exceed the Sunshine State Standards. Individual lesson plans are developed for each child taking into consideration their strengths and weaknesses. Children are also taught to respect themselves and others. We promote daily parental involvement through routine progress reports frequent teacher phone calls informative workshops and newsletters. We encourage active family involvement and welcome unannounced visits.
