The Next Generation Core Curriculum Standards serves as the basis for our curriculum. These are the required goals for all students in the State of Florida. They provide a guideline for us to ensure that the students are acquiring the mandated skills at each grade level. We will work on these goals throughout the school year to ensure that each student has the opportunity to engage ineducational experiences in academics arts and physical fitness. A copy of the Sunshine State Standards may be obtained for kindergarten through second grade third through fifth grade and sixth through eighth grade from the Florida department of education website at FDOE.com.
