Preschool in Miami, FL 33183
Our center was established 15 years ago to provide a safe loving christian environment in where your child will thrive and succeed. It is a family owned center by mother and daughter. Our center provides the children a variety of opportunities to learn by using their creativity. We believe that all children have different learning abilities and we strive to target every child’s learning potential.
Children have always been a passion of mine I am an advocate for them and believe that each child is unique and special. As a mother of three children I know the importance and need of peace and tranquility when leaving your children in the care of another person. It is my foremost compromise with the parents to assure them that their children wiil be treated with love and respect. That your child will thrive in a loving christian environment were all theirs needs will be met by certified care takers whose advocacy is to see your child evolve and succeed. I am a certified teacher with a Bachelors in Elementary Education and a Masters in Reading. I worked for Miami-Dade County Elementary Middle and High Schools. As a teacher I also know the importance of education and the uniqueness of each child’s learning styles as well as the importance of instilling God’s word in their hearts. My philosophy is that every child has the potential and given right to learn. Not only do I enjoy to see a child achieve success and thrive but most importantly seeing them build a relationship with our CREATOR.

The philosophy behind our curriculum is that young children learn best by doing. Learning isn’t just repeating what someone else says; it requires active thinking and experimenting to find out how things work and to learn firsthand about the world we live in.
In their early years children explore the world around them by using all their senses (touching tasting listening smelling and looking).
In using real materials such as blocks and trying out their ideas children learn about sizes shapes and colors and they notice relationships between things.
In time they learn to use one object to stand for another. This is the beginning of symbolic thinking. For example they might pretend a stick is an airplane or a block is a hamburger. These early symbols – the stick and the block – are similar in shape to the objects they represent. Gradually children become more and more able to use abstract symbols like words to describe their thoughts and feelings. They learn to “read” pictures which are symbols of real people places and things. This exciting development in symbolic thinking takes place during the pre-school years as children play.
Play provides the foundation for academic or “school” learning. It is the preparation children need before they learn highly abstract symbols such as letters (which are symbols for sounds) and numbers (which are symbols for number concepts). Play enables us to achieve the key goals of our early childhood curriculum. Play is the work of young children.
