At Downtown Learning Center we blieve that well trained staff and curriculum will provide children with a significant advantage in their education and overall well being.
Children will spend many hours of their young life surrounded by loving caring and highly qualified staff. At DLC our staff undergoes a thorough training and probation period prior to being hired. They are carefully selected based on their educational background their training and their abality to demonstrate genuine care and affection towards children. The hiring process includes trial teaching sessions where we observe how the teacher interact with the children and how the children react to the teacher. Also the have previous experience in the field and in their educational background must have completed all the required HRS courses. CPR and first aid and child development associate certification. Most of our teacher are bylingual with mandetory English command and spanish is their first or second language. This provides an excellent opportunity for the young children to develop the phonetics and latend learning of second language.
