Phillip Reilly Elementary - Feebase Prechool

Reilly Elementary serves approximately 500 students in the heart of Mission Viejo, adjacent to Pavion Park. Community
members and parents are regularly involved in our school, volunteering their services to teachers and children. Our
school is a joint venture between Capistrano Unified School District and the Orange County Department of Education.
We provide an integrated facility where handicapped and non-handicapped students are located on the same campus
and have meaningful opportunities to interact with one another. The staff at Reilly Elementary strives to meet the needs
of all children.
Our staff at Reilly provides a comprehensive, balanced program which promotes high scholastic achievement for all
students. Emphasis is placed on student-centered learning activities which allow students to apply skills in language arts,
social science, science, and mathematics to real life scenarios. Teachers incorporate character education, problemsolving
opportunities, and higher level thinking skills into lessons across the curriculum. We deliver a strong academic
program focusing on curriculum which is closely aligned with the California state standards. We consistently monitor our
instructional programs to produce positive learning outcomes. Our API scores above the 900-mark evidence our high
academic standards. Our Accelerated Academic Achievement/GATE program offers enrichment for high achieving
students. Students having difficulty meeting grade level standards may be served through classroom and grade level
interventions, and our Special Education/Resource Specialist Program. Teachers strive to meet the individual needs of
each and every student at our school.
