AWPD Philosophy of Christian Early Childhood Education

Early childhood education is a Christ-centered, Biblically-integrated process of nurturing and developing the young child’s heart, mind, and body for fellowship with Christ and for the glory of God. (Psalm 78:4-8, Luke 2:52)
God loves children and has commanded that we should bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. (Mark 10:14, Ephesians 6:1-4)
Parents are the most important influence in a child’s life and the primary educators of their children spiritually, physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually. (Deuteronomy 4:9, Proverbs 22:6, and Ephesians 6:1-4)
