About the Director

Teacher Gwen as she likes to be called saw a need to provide quality and affordable child care services in the Philadelphia area. Teacher Gwen then took those qualities she found most helpful to the growth and development of her own children and created a developmentally-appropriate program that will give your child Something To Grow On!

Teacher Gwen holds a Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine and a Bachelors degree in the Biological Sciences. She has taken numerous courses in early childhood education psychology and sociology that focus on the growth and development of young children. She is a member of the Delaware Valley Association for the Education of Young Children (DVAEYC) and the West Philadelphia Childcare Network (WPCCN).

Currently she is working on her Directors Certification and Keystone Stars designation. Keystone stars is an initiative to improve the quality of childcare in the state of Pennsylvania.
